Summary The HP DesignJet 20ps graphics printer delivers fast, color-accurate, photo-quality comps and proofs with the look and feel of offset prints. Designed for graphics professionals, the printer comes complete with a server-based Adobe PostScript™ 3 RIP. Included in the box is the HP DesignJet 20ps printer, HP ink system, 13"x19" tray, HP input tray, USB (5-m) cable, power cord, software RIP CD, HP printing material, user printed documentation, and user documentation CD.

Features Six-color, 2400 dpi writing system reproduces a wide gamut of vivid colors. Small 4 pl drop size and HP color layering technology produce fine details and smooth tonal transitions for true photo-quality output. Automatic closed-loop color calibration ensures reliable color with print to print and printer to printer consistency; color emulation standards, ICC profiles, and automatic Pantone calibration provide color management throughout the entire workflow. Graphics professionals can print proofs on demand for immediate feedback; full-color, 13 x 19 in. comps and proofs print in a fast 5 mpp in "best" mode and 2 mpp in normal mode. HP Designjet B+ proofing matte, semi-gloss, and gloss media emulate offset output and provide 100% SWOP coverage. The HP Designjet 20ps printer is fully compatible with both Macintosh and Windows platforms, providing software RIP support and connectivity for graphics printing.
